How do I become a member?
We are not a members club, we are public centre; we welcome anyone to EPTC. If are a part of a class or competition here we class you as a ‘VIP player’ where you will receive a discount on court hire and priority to enrol into the following term.
How do I enrol into one of your classes?
If you are a beginner then you can register your interest with our reception team and we can look at getting you into a class. If you are an intermediate/advanced player we may ask to assess your standard before putting you into our programme just to make sure we put you in the right class/competition.
I am a beginner, will there be a group class I can join?
Of course, we offer lessons for people of all standards. Our experienced coaches will tailor each class to the players specific needs.
When do classes run?
We have lots of options for you here, we run classes morning and evenings, Monday through to
Saturday and offer a waiting list if you can’t get into a time and day you want.
How do I book a court?
If you navigate onto the ‘court hire’ page you can book a court through our online booking system.
When you arrive at the centre just come to the front desk to check in. Unfortunately, we don’t
take bookings over the phone unless you are a VIP player.
What is Cardio Tennis?
Cardio Tennis is a fun, sociable group fitness class set around playing tennis. It is open to people of
all ages and abilities. Supported by music and our qualified instructors, you will get to hit lots
of tennis balls during your class and have a great cardio workout at the same time.
I have not got my own racquet; will I need to bring one?
We have racquets for you to borrow. You could even try our Head racquet range and with the
advice from our experienced coaches you can purchase the correct one that suits your style of
tennis.
Do you have to play at the club to play in the club teams?
You would need to play at the club to be eligible to play in any of our adult or junior pennant and
bayside teams. You can however play in our club competitions. They run on Tuesday or Thursday morning ladies
doubles, Wednesday night men’s competition, Thursday night mixed competition or Sunday singles
and doubles social.
What age can my child start playing tennis?
We encourage children as young as two to start their journey in tennis. Please visit our junior
